Exactly. Sometimes I feel like you guys want to see robots on the court. They're human beeings. They have the right to not be perfect. If every players would behave like Kevin Durant the NBA would just be boring.

We need more MWP, more Kevin Garnets, more Bryants... Nba needs more douchebags lol.

All this politcally correct BS is getting old.

Lebron has been to three finals straight, he's faced high pressure elimination's game with his legacy on the line. He's been criticised for beeing weak, for not having a killer instinct. He's always responded. Now he's there playing his 4th or 5th game of the season in Torronto, kind of a meaning less game. He's basically saying, it's just too easy. It's boring. Like a high stake cash game poker player playing for matches.

Now will it come back and bites him?

Yes it could. That's partly why it's so hard to three peat.

Vni in that light... I totally agree with you. Some of the older guys set these weird standards that some people (even me). When broken we freak out. First they took away the players ability wear what they wanted to wear, now we're complaining about them just having fun in the moment. Basically Robots.

It's what Tennis's players have became. Boring robots.

You can't complain that the NBA has became soft, you can't complain for the refs whisteling everything, giving technicals everytime a player raises his eyebrow and then also complain when a player publicly and in a harmless way expresses his feeling on the court.

Actually you can I just disagree with it. I like what Lebron did and I also like the audience reacting. I wish I was in the stadium at that moment. Must have been great.

I had to watch that video a couple times to see what he actually did...I thought he was about to bust out and Harlem Shake after Ray Allen's 3 or something...then I realized it was that little shimmy w/ the ball at the beginning...

            Really? Meh.

It isn't that big of a deal. What is missing from the video is when he is yelling at Ross as he walks by him. That's even more funny.

But sounds like Tyson will be out for 4-6 weeks with a fracture of fibula smh.

I'm actually relieved. Way it was sounding last night I was thinking it would be worse.

Definitely a big loss for the short term though, and especially disappointing because he was off to such a great start.

Man I'm all for having fun while you out there, but some things are just disrespectful. I don't need LeBron or anybody for that matter busting out shimmy shakes while he's dribbling up 9 towards the end of a game. Again though, because it's LeBron things are different. If this was Javale McGee or some clown like Jordan Crawford, dudes would be killing him right now.

Again, have fun out there, it's just a game at the end of the day, but there's a fine line between having fun out there and being disrespectful and overly cocky. As for the tired *** "if you don't want them doing (insert action) out there stop them." That line can kick rocks. Clearly they can't stop him. People want to spend twelve months calling LeBron a freak of nature unlike anything we've ever seen in sports before and then when he's doing stuff like that you're supposed to just stop him if you don't like it. Yeah, okay. If I got out on the court against some fifth graders and was dancing around their asses on the court or somebody who's talent level was clearly beneath mine then I'd just be an ******* nobody would be running in to defend me just having fun. You can have fun at what you do without taking a low road to do it.

You telling me... He was playing so great. I hate when this happens. Player gets off to a great start. Then gets side tracked with injury.

And you know I get that. But we wouldn't have the crazy long handshakes, chak toss and the stupid taking pictures before the game. Those things are freaking awesome! Even if they are little unprofessional. But those things are fun. That's why I love guys like Magic. A guy who did what he wanted to do on the court. Once we start complain about these little things you take a players creativity away. I sound like some hippy or art buff. But you know what I mean. We wouldn't see anything new if people followed what the old school guys did.

Why can we never discuss things on this forum without someone accusing someone of taking things too serious or acting like someone is at home losing sleep at night thinking about this stuff?

Nobody is saying get rid of all that stuff. LeBron's chalk toss, handshakes the pictures before the game and all that stuff. That's fine, have fun, not saying that stuff isn't okay. But having dance contests on the sidelines during timeouts and during the game, rubbing it in the other team's face with stuff like that during the game? Dudes don't really have to do all that to have fun with the game is what I'm saying. Particularly in this case, my point was that LeBron has cleaned up his image significantly since the decision. Why even do some dumb **** like this that's going to make people start hating on him again?

                              Oh yes we would, lol

The showboating people get up in arms about now, has nothing on the showboating from the 90's...it was borderline overboard what you were allowed to get away with...that's what makes it funny when some uses the "players these days" argument...

If this is such a big deal, let's go ahead and get rid of things like Noah's guns on court and sideline, Novaks belt, or pretty much anything Nate Robinson does after a basket lol...these things happen after single scores during the course of the game...

I doubt the players even get as upset as the fans do about this kind of stuff..

What LeBron did in that video is the furthest thing from being cocky or showboating. Disrespectful? I could understand if he was dancing or something but he was just dribbling the ball kicking his feet out bit. Don't see how that is in the least being disrespectful.

And 24th, you hit the nail on the head. I find the Noah guns, Novak belt etc. etc. to be great theater. It's a show out there. None of that is disrespectful. If James was out there Harlem Shaking or something then I'd see a problem.
