Wait, Wait I thought Harden was a good defender, that's all I heard out of OKC. When I saw nothing special, certainly better then Martin was, but nothing to write home about.

Patrick Ewing will make his head coaching debut tonight, in an interim fashion of course, against the Knicks.

Harden isn't the best/better than Wade. I think that's what he is saying.

But that's why I think Harden went to the bench. I don't think Brooks was happy with his defense.

True. His post just comes off as if it shouldn't have even been a discussion at all, that's why I asked him.

If that's not what he meant then my apologies. But I will say it's not a laughable notion to say that Harden is a better play than Wade right now as far as overall skill/production go and not career achievements(where Wade obviously has him beat lol).

I'm less concerned about them running the play then I am about Harden looking completely disinterested if he doesn't have the ball in his hands.

A player looking disinterested without the ball in his hands!?!

                What a shocker...

I didn't mean it that way.. I just remember so many posters acting like I was crazy for thinking that last season when Wade wasn't playing hurt (around mid season or so) that he was still a better all around player than Harden.. They were the ones acting like it shouldn't even be a discussion..

Basically saying that Wade's offense had fallen off so far that it didn't matter where Harden's game was lacking..

But like I said I would take Wade because he's better end-to-end, he's a better leader, and if he was still a number one option getting Harden's minutes his offensive production would have been about the same.. That's why I chose Wade..

There is no scenario to magically make Harden good on defense.. Apparently not even playing with the best shot blocker in the league. And his leadership, or attitude, isn't something I would chose over Wade's..

I will say from what I've saw this season though, Wade hasn't looked great.. Picking Harden would make more sense to me now than picking him based upon last season.. We'll see how Wade looks later once he's in better shape/conditioning is better.

I said this back then too.. I said that if Harden was a great defender he would start. And everyone called me crazy and said Brook's just wanted him to be a Manu.

Which they may be right, not like any of us know.. But if he would have been a better defender there would really be no reason to keep Thabo in the line-up, or on the team for that matter.

How bad did Andrew Bynum hear it in Philly?

I see Bennett still only has one field goal to his name

Also Gay is playing out of his mind. Good to see since he's started the season shooting like 30%

Barely five minutes into the game, Anthony Davis has 8 pts, 7 rebs, and a block. If only we could get our hands on a starting caliber center to partner him up with...

I called Bismack a bust a few weeks/months ago. I take that assessment back.

His hands are actually improving. Patrick Ewing deserves some praise for that.
