I have to give Shootout it's Props.
The idea of having a Summer League is Ingenious! I noticed in the movie at IGN, the Lakers had the 3rd Stringers starting in the clip. If playing increases their attributes, this would be something every basketball game will need."I've Altered The Deal..."Tags: None -

all i know is i'm gettin this...i'd get 2K3 if it wasn't so damn hard to shoot free throws, and live would be a waste of $50.Discrimihater Productions

Re: I have to give Shootout it\'s Props.
Is nba2k3's system for Ft's the same this upcoming release?
If so, I better get some practice. It is way too hard for me too.
I win the computer in all aspects of the game except for FT shooting.Comment

Re: I have to give Shootout it\'s Props.
I am the total opposite. I think that the free throw system on 2K2 was WAY too easy. I could get up there with Shaq and prob sink 99/100. Once you get used to it, its simple. I like Live's because every player has a different speed. 2K2 its all your skill...not that player himself.
I think if they use it this year, they need to make it to where they arrows move faster and move more with less pressure if the player is not a good free throw shooter.

on the topic of FT shooting I agree, Live's is better, they just need to make bad players' meters move even faster. Because it's still easy to hit close to 100% after a bit of practice.Comment

Reserve any "props" for Shootout until you actually play it. I guarantee you won't be giving it any after you play it..

Re: I have to give Shootout it\'s Props.
Hey Shredder, is it so bad that you wouldn't give it a rent? I am dying for some b-ball and unfortunately that is the first game until 2K3. I saw the movies at IGN and thought Candyman looked pretty good and the players stood more erect than previous versions.I couldn't tell if the gameplay was really bad or just the person playing the game.

Re: I have to give Shootout it\'s Props.
It's the stiff gameplay that really turned me off. The graphics weren't too hot either but some companies spruce things up a bit from E3 to release. If you're dying to play something go right ahead. I wouldn't waste my time but that's just me......Comment

Re: I have to give Shootout it\'s Props.
I could tell the graphics were lacking compared to the other titles. Man they release this game early for suckers like me...they will probably get a share of moola from my Blockbuster gamers card. Oh well...tired of football already...

Bill Walton has the perfect videogame announcer voice! He's too over-the-top for real basketball, but for videogames he's pretty good. Eventhough, I know I would probably tire of him after about 30 minutes.
