Celtics WILL be in the playoffs

    C's Advantage

The Celtics basically own all the tiebreakers (except NY), they have the easiest schedule, and are playing the best ball besides the heat out of the contenders.

It also looks bad for the Cavs. Tonights sixers game is a blowout, and they have the toughest schedule with the spurs mavs and grizz coming up.

The Celtics' Paul Pierce has studied the schedules and he's got it figured out. "We're in, baby," he said, referring to the playoffs. "We're in. If y'all are smart, then y'all are going to pencil us in." Make sure the pencil has an eraser. The Celtics are tied for the eighth spot with the Cavaliers. But here's the odd thing about Boston's run. With three first-round draft picks, Danny Ainge, the team's director of basketball, has said hitting the lottery might be in the team's best interests, long-term. But interim coach John Carroll stands to get a $100,000 bonus if the Celtics make the playoffs. And, knowing he has virtually no shot at keeping the job, Carroll wants and needs that extra salary. How's that for everybody being on the same page?
