Actually last year people were upset because the Lakers got put out, and TD isn't a flashy kinda superstar. NJ doesn't have good defense, although SA does.I would've been more content seeing SA and Indiana than NJ again.

The L has suffered in almost all the fundamental areas. You now have players lying about why the scores are low (because of the defenses) yeah RRRRIIIIIIGGGHHHTTTT. Players can't shoot, and too many lack basic fundamentals. The guy who has them packed down TD is looked at as boring for playing the game the right way, and gets hated on for winning the MVP. It's unbelieveable.

I don't see how the Mavs defense has been better than their offense at times this year. Do you mean like 1 or 2 games out of the year? Cause if you look at the numbers, it says the total opposite of what you're saying.

The Mavs are #1 in the L in ppg at 105.04 ppg. On the flip side, they are #2, or #28 however you want to look at it, in ppg given up at 100.54. Only the Orlando Magic give up more points.

You hit the nail right on the head. Most of the guys in the league can't hit water if they fell out of a boat. That Indiana/Detroit game was as much about bad shooting as it was good defense. Both teams shot under 40% for God sake. Teams like Sacramento and Dallas can hang at least 95 points against that Detroit defense. And why is that? They can shoot the ball.
