I suppose the 2012-2013 Knicks can make a bit of an argument.

    Carmelo Anthony
    Ama're Stoudemire
    Tyson Chandler
    Jason Kidd
    Rasheed Wallace
    Kenyon Martin

I guess that team would've been good.

Not sure this one deserves to be mentioned with the others. At most 3 Hall of Famers (Sheed being a bit of a stretch) compared to a 4 or 5 on some of the Lakers and Celtics teams.

At his peak Amare was easily playing at a HOF level though. That team would probably start Sheed at the 5 and have Chandler coming off the bench.

I was gonna say 2000 but 2001 works too. This team was DEEP and they were 1 damn quarter away from the Finals and probably a championship, since I think they could've won in the Finals.

Was JO still down on the bench at this point? Can't remember which year he left. Even more big man depth.

Re: Greatest Team in their Prime?

Theres alot of great time teams during their prime but one of my two favorite ones are the Suns and Pistons

I liked the Pistons when their prime lineup was Billips, Hamilton, Prince, Rasheed Wallace, and Ben Wallace. Great team both offensively and defensively

I also liked the Suns prime lineup of Steve Nash, Leandro Barbosa, Raja Bell, Shawn Marion Amare Stoudemire, and Kurt Thomas.
I also liked the lineup of Nash, Joe Johnson, Quentin Richardson, Marion and Stoudemire

                  1996-1997 Chicago Bulls
                  Starters
Ron Harper (Ron Harper in his prime was a 20-5-5 guy in Cleveland and LAC)
                  MJ
                  Pip
Rodman (Detroit Rodman or 96 Rodman, either way)
Robert Parish (19ppg 10rpg and a decent FT)

This is a starting line up scoring 20PPG each.

                  Bench
                  Kukoc
Bison Dele ( much fun made of this loser, but he was 15-7 in a few years)
