Oh I know we don't know what he tells them to do or what he wants them to do. I would just like to see some apparent changes. Not the same offense and defense every game when it's clear that it isn't up to par with championship level standards. It's still early, this is the time to experiment.

But I do feel a lot of it has to do with Wade being out, along with various other injuries they've had.

The other bad effect of this is that the whole league is watching. They see Miami letting teams into games and it gives more confidence to the whole league that they can beat them now. They have a shot. Where as if they where dominating as they should be, bad teams would come into games with no hope and play even worse. Not only you're not playing great, but now the opposition is playing better too.

Can't tell if this is horrid defense on both ends are just both teams filling it up

If they are paying that close of attention....they should be scared that MIA is 32-12 and "playing bad"

Miami will be fine....as a Laker fan you've seen repeats/ three peats and this same exact thing...not sure why your taking this angle...

Combination of both but I'm leaning more towards offense given the personnel. Both teams can score and shoot especially with the 2 pg look on the floor. I think the fact that both teams are good offensively compounds some things defensively. I can't see a starting frontcourt of Faried and Hickson being good defensively. It's why given the Western Conference, I don't know if Denver makes it in over certain teams and certainly why Denver would struggle in a 7 game series.

Miami has been winning games but there isn't one good reason out there for letting bad teams into games and having your star players playing 37 minutes on worthless game against that type of opponents. Is that reasonnable?

That's all am saying. Lebron isn't 25 anymore.

Actually, you raise a good question. Why so many mins for the starters? Especially bron and bosh. I bring this point up, because in a couple of the heat losses lebron looked gassed at then end. Which is weird to see. I wonder if its a combo of the team being tired/championship hangover, and coasting. I personally dont fully buy the coasting thing, if for no other reason, that these guys are big competitors and wouldnt just take a whatever attitude to a large portion of tbere games. Tbh though, these guys will still be ready for playoffs so whatever is happening isnt that big a deal, but im starting to wonder a little bit if there losing the ability to turn it off and on. Because 3 straight finals trips can tire you.

Well Lamarcus Aldridge dominated that game. They just went to him over and over again down the stretch of the 4th quarter.

Yup…scored the last 15 points for Portland. This Blazers team is fun to watch...

It's not like Miami doesn't lose stupid games or play like crap in these type of games every single year or anything.

Really wasn't blaming him. Blaming the refs for letting him "control" the situation.

Not really worried about the Heat. I'll start judging them after All-Star break.

But man this Blazers team reminds me of the Dallas Mavericks 2011 team. Really fun to watch. Lets see if they can bring it together.

the '11 mavs had legit defense at some spots though. Portland isn't winning anything until they can defend

Coaching and Vet Leadership(two biggest differences between these 2 teams) and everyone on that team knew their roles.

I gotta see alot more before I start comparing them to that Dallas team, that went on a tear in the postseason.
