Right, they've been known to "play down" to some average teams levels. Not only that but bad teams always seem to give max effort against teams like Miami.

I give props to Pau Gasol. Despite being unhappy and being on a struggling team he's played some of the best basketball he's played in awhile. And has been playing through injuries. I've been getting monster games from him fantasy wise.

I gotta see alot more before I start comparing them to that Dallas team, that went on a tear in the postseason.

To be fair though, no one was even picking 2011 Dallas to be that good at this point of the season.

Pistons-Pelicans going to be interesting. Neither team knows how to hold a lead in a game late. I want Detroit to win, but I want Anthony Davis to have another great game.

To be that good or to win it all at that point? Because they certainly had the roster and coaching to be at least a Top 4 team. Now winning it all, I agree in that no one expected that.

Teletovic has been balling for us this year.

Why Averah and PJ didn't see this or really refused to see this last year, I have no idea why.

To add to your differences between the Mavs and this year's Blazers, just take a look at the benches. Dallas had a contract year Barrea, still capable JET, hungry Brewer and Peja (actually hit some big shots) while the Blazers have... basically an older Mo Williams. Yikes.

I don't really see the similarities except that nobody expects the Blazers to win it all even possibly after winning 50+ games.

These Blazers are much younger and extremely less experienced than those Mavs-- who had a seasoned Dirk, Kidd and Chandler.

Like someone else said as well, the teams simply don't compare defensively. Their team defense was more than respectable.

Melo pouring it on the Cats right now. 27 on 11/15 shooting midway through the 2nd quarter.

Clippers and Bulls with those 2K shooting percentages to start this one.

24 pts in the 2nd including going 6/6 from 3.

This dude has been contributing for most of the season off the bench, doing what we paid him to do(hit his 3s) but yet Averah/PJ continued to tell us that he was not an NBA player. This is one example of why neither of them deserve another HC job in the NBA.
