        1) Lebron is still the best player in the world.
        2) If the MVP voting happened today, it should go to Durant.

Seems to be the general consensus. At the same time ... it's January. Still a lot of season to be played.

He's had bad knees since Toronto. It's more for protection but it's the reason he's basically a jump shooter now.

He looks visibly slower since he left Toronto from day 1

also for the Durant part of the MVP discussion you need to stop acting like it's just been the last 8-10 games. advanced stats don't lie he's been playing efficient basketball all season.

Speaking of VC...How would people have viewed the deal had Raptors actually used those picks to draft good players? Danny Granger and Rajon Rondo were both picked 1 spot after the pick the Raptors had from the VC deal. So had Raptors drafted those 2(meaning starting lineup would've contained Bosh,Granger,Rondo), would people actually see that as a good deal for Raptors?

Yeah Dre. He used to be more of a stretch 4 and could take big guys out on the win and face them up. Now, he's pretty much a jump shooter and tbh, I don't know what his value would be w/o LBJ. He's a poor rebounder, decent defender, and for his contract, not the kind of guy you can count on to get you 20 a night.

Exactly and that's exactly how I remember him playing. Thinking about it maybe Toronto dodged a bullet in the long run by not building around him.

Don't know if I agree that it's just plain regression...I think Miami's system has neutered him a good bit as well...

When MIA's offense was "big 3 take turns iso'ing" he more than held his own...I have no idea why Bosh doesn't get non assisted looks anymore...he should be the go to guy when the Heat second unit is in, but he doesn't even get the ball...I honestly think it's a case of not using it and losing it...he still can get past 80% of the 4/5's guarding him with foot speed...

Now his rebounding is a different story...you could argue his move to the 5 hampered this, but there's just a straight lack if effort there at times...

Dirk taking the night off tonight for rest. First time Carlisle has sat him down for that all year. Makes sense, he's been shooting the ball pretty poorly in the last few games.

Varejao just pulled a fake behind the back pass on the break and slammed it home!

Raptors fans just had flashbacks to the VC of his Raptors days.

EDIT: Mavs outscore the Raptors 34-15 in the first and the Raptors outscore the Mavs 31-17 in the second lol
