PHIL JACKSON...
after this season will no longer be with the Lakers after this season. why? because he ran Kobe Bryant out of town. the best pure scorer in the game today and Phil "i'm the reason the team wins" Jackson picks this time to criticize. i loved Phil in Chi-town, but can't stand him in LA. he's worst than Shaq at times. why criticize you star plar in the papers, giving the media something to write about. what did it get him, an as kicking in Sac-town.
anyone else "feel" he should just shut up?...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Tags: None -
Re: PHIL JACKSON...
Firstly, that's what he does. He think creating these little rumblings will help with motivation and team chemistry as far as aggressive basketball goes.
Secondly, that's what the Lakers as a whole do. They like to have reasons and excuses for losses before the games are even played.
I read somewhere that Spurs coach Popovich said he'd be happy to have Phil as an assistant next year. I don't know if it's true or if Pop was serious, but I think it's funny either way. -

For the most part the only one I saw making excuses yesterday was Shaq. Even Kobe admitted that the Kings played well.
It's funny when ESPN thinks he's a god though when they say did Kobe keep himself out of the game, or was it Sacramento's defense.Comment

Re: PHIL JACKSON...
I don't like Kobe as a person (from the little I've seen) and don't think he's as good a player as most others but I can't believe the big deal being made of yesterdays game and any other form or attitude slumps. There must be some terrible and scary thoughts going through his mind 24 hours a day. Even if he is totally innocent, he would still be pondering the chance that his life could be over and spent behind bars and if he is guilty then maybe that thought would be multiplied plus a few others.
Then if he does actually get off, perhaps he might feel there are better things in life and lose a little value and focus for bball.
As I said, I don't like him, so certainly don't like defending him but I think too many little things are blown out of proportion in the nba these days.Comment
