    Ok.

So is not having Moochie Norris going to be what stops them from getting to game 6?

when you have more turnovers than field goals (third quarter) your not going to win. and yes the knicks were looking for a split every road team does. i really dont think any road team goes into it saying we gotta win both games on the road. that would be great but in reality a split is what Lenny and the Boys were looking for. btw it is just one game and its a marathon not a sprint. this isnt a 5 game series anymore its best of 7 so dont count out the Knicks just yet.

i said it before and i'll say it again, the knicks dont matchup well to the nets at all. Knicks have shaky transition D at best and couple that with their tendancy to turn the ball over and not get that many offensive rebounds, that allows the nets to score all over them with their fast break.

I think its the idiots tossing up 3s that don't need to be that did us in. 5 staight possessions that someone hosted up a three and they got 8 fast break points off of those during their 11-0 run. At least make the guys have to rebound, outlet, and walk the ball up and earn the points!

The turnovers were pretty bad too, but Frank will be better next game. That was his first playoff game and he let Kidd get in his head. I bet that Marbury and Houston sat him down last night and helped him out.

By the way, good to see all the Nets fans at the Meadowlands yesterday?? Can't even sell out the building for a playoff game. Heck, the MLS game next door outdrew them by 14k!

It just gives them a better chance. There's no guarantee either way, but having someone on the bench who can actually PLAY a game counts far more than someone who MAY be ready for a TBD game 6.

Houston will probably be rusty as hell anyway. He'll disrupt whatever groove the Knicks have gotten into, assuming it even lasts 6 games.

Rationally, you've gotta go with someone more reliable than that. Someone who can play the games from start to finish. Having Houston on the roster means that the Knicks compromise the depth of their bench (the ONE thing that they MIGHT have an advantage in over the Nets). Moochie's not necessarily a money player or anything. But there's always the possibility he could get hot during the series and help the Knicks a LOT.

That's something Houston just can't do, because he can't even play the games.

blah, there's 13 guys on a roster and only 10 usually play in a game. Moochie wouldn't have played yesterday anyways.
