Also, give credit to the Nets. They are taking it to the Knicks with the physical play and it is definetly affecting the Knicks. The Nets are playing the best ball in the East right now and are showing why they are the 2 time defending conference champs.

Yeah but at least we know we're bad. The Knick Knacks are trying to pretend to be medium rare Porterhouse when they're actually Steak'ums.

They're bad. They barely made the playoffs. They don't have much chemistry right now. They are a team wracked with injuries too and that definitely hurts a LOT. Especially with key players like Tim Thomas and Allan Houston out. And their defense is VERY inconsistent. Will they be better next year? Only time will tell, but I think they will be a lot better. Would they be able to take on the Nets though even then? I really doubt it, unless more playing time is given to the likes of Sweetney, Dermarr Johnson and Frank Williams.

They have to develop their youth, because that's the only way they'll be able to compete with the Nets. The Nets are very quick and very athletic. The Knicks just aren't. But they do have a little hope in their rookies.

Their deficiencies are made even worse though, with a team like the Nets, because they just don't match up well at all.

The Nets were just on fire today though. The Nets just didn't beat the Knicks on the fastbreak, they beat them at the halfcourt game as well. And the Knicks showed up to play defense way too late to make the game competitive.

Plus, the fact that the Knicks were 3-15 on layups. Yup there went 24 points right there. Unbelieveable. I expect that kind of futility out of the Warriors or Magic.

                              No Houston
                              No Tim Thomas
We have Penny in there thinkin he can still be a good starter.
Marbury has been medicore cauze of their Defensive pressure

Unless Houston or Thomas make a miracle comeback..it is over in 5.(if we're lucky)
