Big things to expect in 2015 Dunk Contest?

    <iframe width="640" height="390" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/PbsSqWVxg34" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

As quoted from Team Flight Brothers,

"We've been back. Just a process getting things going on YouTube, Been doing a lot of shows with New Talent. I will most likely be working with the NBA next year to format the Slam Dunk Contest. "

"I was hired by those 3 to show them fresh stuff and how to do them.. was a great weekend, amazing people Paul George, Terrence Ross and John Wall.. We will be working with them again"

It's highly improbably that George and Ross return next year, but with Wall as the reigning champ and working with TFB, as well as TFB working with the NBA, could 2015 be the year?

I am not able to listen to the video at the moment so my apologies if I gauged the context incorrectly, but I'm not sure I understand why someone needs to work with the NBA on the format of the dunk contest. How difficult can it be to recognize that six competitors, three first round dunks, and a final round with real judges and no fan voting may be better than a team format, a layup line for a first round and American Idol-style judge monologues?

Personally I feel the whole advertising on jersey thing as a really positive thing for teams. I think the design and placement of these advertisements will be the determining factor. As Steve Kerr mentioned a while ago, as long as these ads aren't too big (i.e., similar size to the existing NBA or Adidas logos on jerseys), then I don't think there should be too much problem about it. At the end of the day, placing ads on jerseys will generate more revenue for the team, specifically those in smaller markets.

I dont give 10 craps about team revenue because they arent sharing any with me.

This is becoming more and more about everything except basketball.

I mean, the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night was kicked off by the NBA on TNT All-Star Challenge presented by Samsung Galaxy, Sears Shooting Stars, Taco Bell Skills Challenge, and Foot Locker Three Point Shootout before leading to the Sprite Slam Dunk that was preceded by a live performance by pop superstar Kendrick Lamar that rivaled the length of the Sprite Slam Dunk itself, which was hosted by Nick Cannon and judged by American Idol-inspired monologues from former superstars holding up ipads presented by Apple. I don't really see how that's becoming about more than the basketball.
