Which playoff team is under the most pressure?

Lakers? They added two future hall of fame guys, to find their way back to the finals. If they don't win, Kobe could be on the way out.

Pistons? Ditch Rick and bring in Larry to get them to the finals, versus the ECF. If they don't make it, lots of questions for Detroit.

Pacers? After the previous poor playoff performances, they are the #1 team, new coach, but expectations are high.

T-Wolves? I don't think any team in the NBA has more pressure on them to win in the first round. After all those first round exits, they bring in Kandi Man, Cassel, and Spree for this very reason. Loads of pressure.

Spurs? A lot of people questioned them for not adding one of the premiere free-agents. They chose to let some of their guys go, and add role players. Some pressure on them to repeat.

Nets? Scott had got them to two straight NBA Finals, will Frank even make it to the ECF? Martin is a free-agent, Kidd is banged up, they have been struggling.

Nuggets? Don't laugh. Denver fans rejoiced after defeating the Kings as if they had won the Finals all ready. A lot of insiders say, that coach Jeff Bzdelik, is under pressure to have a decent first round showing, otherwise he might be shown the door. Which is ludacris in my opinion.

Mavericks? Added more fire power, if this team doesn't win, I'm sure Cuban will make more changes.

Kings? More loaded than last season, a lot of people had them pegged last year for the Finals.

My vote has to go for the T-Wolves. They have the #1 seed, and they made big moves this off-season.

    What do you guys think?

It's a toss-up between the T-Wolves and Lakers to me. The Wolves finally added a supporting cast for KG and it's something that he kept pining for. Well now he's got the cast behind him so let's see the Wolves make it past the first round.

The Lakers have to have tons of pressure with the future HOFers on the team now and then you have Kobe who wants to show that he can play even tho he's being hounded by the media over the assult allegations and then some of his stupid behaviour this year.

Still I think the edge goes to the Wolves. Its time KG puts up or shut up.

I agree. T-Wolves and Lakers. I would love to see a T-Wolves Spurs WCF though to see KG and TD go at it. Who would be the real MVP then?

I would like to add the Rockets to the list. Sure they made the playoffs for the first time in five years, but Stevie Franchise's not to mention a few other guys' futures could depend on how well they play as a team in the playoffs. That is a tall order considering they face Shaq and the Lakers. I would say a 4 or 5 and out, and Francis wears a different jersey next season.

I still have to say the Spurs have the most pressure on them, theyre the defending champs, arent they?

Lakers without a doubt. They just haven't shown the dominance that was expected. Everyone expects them to turn on their best game like the switch of a light. Its not that easy when you look at the talent in the western conference. The Rockets are not a real threat, but if they take a real try at it , they will play shaq physical.
The Spurs are also under some pressure because if memphis wins a game or 2 people are going to start saying they are worse then last year. Honestly the spurs have a team thats built for playoff basketball and losing Robinson will not hurt them. They need some perimeter players to step up like Harris,Bowensk,Stevie Jackson did for them last playoffs
