Re: 3/4 - 3/10 Games Discussion Thread
I think Indiana's offense could be a problem in the playoffs. Like someone said, the game slows down and the defense is tightened. I'm not sure Indiana's offense is gonna be good enough to beat Miami's defense. But who knows, Miami made Hibbert look like Kareem last year.
Still, I don't trust Roy or Lance as consistent scoring options. It's also a little disturbing to me that lance is their leading playmaker with 5 assists a game. Maybe it's because I've never actually seen him have a good game, but I really don't like Lance lol. Everybody seems to love him though so maybe I'm wrong about him.
FWIW I like Hill on their team, but I'd like to know who you would put on there realistically.

I think the only reason Lance is their assist leader is because they don't use a traditional style point guard to create plays for others.. Which is why I like Hill as a fit because for what they need he does well..
They run lots of what they do through their wing guys and if not they give it to Roy... I just don't see the need for a true facilitator, especially since they might be giving up defense and outside shooting by moving Hill for someone who's more of a playmaker.
That and Lance is a pretty good playmaker for an off guard.. Lance and PG are both a little turnover prone, which has alway been their problem when playing the heat.Last edited by ojandpizza; 03-06-2014, 03:55 AM.Comment

Im not a big fan myself but he has had some good games. I think last year he was so inconsistent and he just couldn't match his home production whatever it was on the road which means teams will have you for lunch if you can't produce away from home.
Beyond that you can't count on the guy night in and out to give you 20 a game or anything.Comment

Re: 3/4 - 3/10 Games Discussion Thread
I'm not saying they need a facilitator and I like how Hill fits on the team. I just look at assist numbers as an indication of the type of baskets a team gets. The fact that Lance leads their team in assists isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the team as a whole doesn't get a lot of assists either.
That leads me to believe they don't get a lot of easy baskets. I don't get to watch them a lot though so I could be wrong here. Maybe that's why I'm not big on Lance. I know he's had good games but I have yet to actually see the All star that people say he was.

Even in wins lately Pacers have just been off. Extremely sluggish, and just getting out hustled, again, even in losses. We've been lucky to have a weak schedule during this down turn, if we would have played a halfway decent team last 2-3 weeks, i think we would have lost quite a lot more with the way we've been playing.
Not jumping off a cliff or anything, but im disturbed by the effort and attitude ive been seeing, they seem deflated lately. Gotta snap out if itComment

Does anyone think Evan Turner addition might be the problem? Not exactly the problem. But just kind of meshing wrong. Just a question. I haven't seen any games since he's been on the team.

But the pacers aren't playing with that edge the last few games like they're bored and ready for the playoffsLast edited by Rockie_Fresh88; 03-06-2014, 12:14 PM.#1 Laker fan
