I think you're just trying to start an argument with this thread...
However, the Celtics are in the playoffs because they finished with the 8th best record in the East....DUH! It's not that hard to figure out. -

Re: seriously: why is boston in the playoffs?
Well, even though they did finish 8th, I don't think they deserve to be there. Ainge did mess up the team, but I think he did it for the future. They weren't going anywhere with the team they had, so he made some moves while looking at the future.
Anyways, Cavs should be in the playoffs. That would be exciting to watch. They might have gotten swept too, but it still would have been more enjoyable.Comment

Celtics had a better record than Cleveland.
So tell my why the Cavs deserve to be there over Boston...You said they weren't going anywhere with the team they had...well that terrible team managed to have a better record than Cleveland. That speaks volumes in itself.Comment

And on a side note, I think the C's coach is doing a terrible job. Were getting KILLED on the boards, would it hurt to play Mihm and Hunter...together? Or at least one of them with Blount instead of McCarty. I love Walter, but hes been dam near worthless at PF this year and the coach thinks he should get the nod due to his "experience". Whats the worst that could happen? God forbid we get some rebounds. Come on...
