I cant believe it. The Rockets had it in OT but they just flat out blew it. Live and learn I guess. I still cant believe Francis dribbled the ball out of bounds. No one touched him and I thought dribbling is what he does best. They need this and they didnt get it, now this is really gunna get hard for them. Going to LA with LA about to move on.

No he lunged to get away from his man and bounced the ball too far ahead. He had a lot of room too, as if he controlled the dribble, he could have taken one or two more and ripped it because everyone else had their head turned away.

The thing to fault him for is taking that airball jumper to win it in regulation. A more savvy player will take it to the hole, at least try to draw a foul or take a better shot than a fadeaway that deep. Then again, Kobe makes those shots all the time. However, he also made a critical drive and 3-point play in OT to bring them back.

Not really. However, other than the 4th quarter of game 2, they've been there every game.

In close games however, they don't execute and they don't have a real go-to player. Yao settled for bad shots when Shaq or Malone muscled him out, rather than to try to maintain his dribble and get a better shot as he has done in the regular season games.

Now they double him and he kicks it out. Other than game 3, the Rockets haven't shot it well enough to force the Lakers out of the double teams.

So the Rockets don't have go-to players who can get them a high-percentage shot like Shaq or Kobe driving.

I'm a Lakers fan, and I think Karl's dirty. I hated him with Utah, but with the Lakers, it's ok.

i think actually the rockets present a pretty good challange. I think yao will do the best job to contain shaq over any other player in the league. Also even though they make boneheaded mistakes they still have the talent. I personally feel that they are better than the grizzlies even though the grizzlies were ranked higher.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I believe quite a while ago a survey was done by NBA players on who they thought was the dirtest players in the game and Malone was #1, with Stockton being #2. I could never stand Malone and what he did today was just another example of a veteran getting over because they can. NBA refs need to take the blinders off and clean up the game IMO.

Does anyone else think that the Rockets have played some of the best defense on Shaq and Kobe? Jeff Van Gundy is a great coach, especially when it comes to defense, and he is proving it in this series. no one is really gonna stop Kobe or Shaq, but the Rockets have done a great job of containing them. Jeff Van Gundy has really helped this team, I mean he even got Mobley playing great defense.
