If you call going 32-48 or something carrying your team, then by all means! Its the East buddy, thats the only reason they were in. And I wouldn't say carried so much as limped and fell into the playoffs. Redd deserved it, Peirce was kinda crappy this year. He cant do it on his own.

So if Pierce has a bad season, and still puts up better numbers than Redd, Redd should make the All NBA team? I dont think so. Fact is he did carry his team to the POs not just get there by default. After the long losing streak, it wasnt jiri welsch, ricky davis or mark Blount carrying that team back into the thick of things in the race, it was Pierce. Anyone who watched that series can tell you that Celtics team minus Pierce doesnt win 20 games.

Well said Big Mike, Pierce may have only squeked out a 32-48 record but it was pierce and pierce alone who carried this team into the playoffs. And this was a bad year for him. Hes better than this,
