Yeah that sucks, but can you blame them? After all, the Lakers are still the network's #1 draw. And the fact that this matchup pits the 2 teams who have won the last 5 championships -- and has developed into a good rivalry at that -- makes it an even bigger event.

True, my point is that its a Game 1 and basically meaningless to the casual fan, where a Game 6 has some meaning. Just my opinion.

IMO the rest (or next if Minny wins) of the Nugs/wolves games are must watch, as these guys are starting to genuinely dislike each other. Mavs-Kings doesnt particulary interest me, but I dont think it'll be necessary anyway.
