    Re: 4/8 - 4/16 Games Discussion Thread

Surprised to see Nets lose tonight, but now it means Raptors magic number is just at 1 now to clinch division,so it'll more than likely come on Friday!

Now things get tense. 4 games left for Raptors and Bulls and both have same record. Both teams final 4 games are all winnable games.

Raptors win tiebreaker(cause they're division winner, though even if they weren't,I think they still win it using the other tiebreaker rules) so Bulls HAVE to win more games than them if they want to get 3rd.

    Bulls:
    Friday vs Pistons
    Sunday @ Knicks
    Monday vs Magic
    Wednesday @ Bobcats
(Bulls 8-3 in games vs these teams this year)

    Raptors:
    Friday vs Knicks
    Sunday @ Pistons
    Monday vs Bucks
    Wednesday @ Knicks
(Raptors 7-0 in games vs these teams this year)

For Bulls,Magic game is only game I really see them having shot to lose(1-1 vs Magic this year, and both games have been decided by just 1 possession). For Raptors,Knicks are probably the team most likely to beat them(after all, they play each other 2 times to end the season, and if they're still in playoff hunt, they'll especially want to win)

So sick of having to rely on other teams to help my teams out.

Miami dominates everything and everyone for like 4 years in a row and you need them to win one----JUST ONE---freakin' game and they play like LOSERS.

Indiana please just take this #1 seed. We don't want it.
          Good job! Good effort!

Great defense by Memphis, specifically Allen. Aside from the 4th quarter turnover collapse (basically LeBron vs the rest), I think Miami did pretty well considering we were without Birdman, Haslem, Oden (Battier guarding Z-Bo was brutal to watch).

Bosh has been abysmal this season. Virtually no production from him whatsoever.

I'd have to disagree. His been very clutch down the stretch both offensively and defensively (weak side help). I know the numbers doesn't really show but I truly believe this has been his best season with the Heat in terms of fluidity and spacing.

I think it's kind of a win-win situation for us here.
                  1. If Miami does take the #1 seed, they'll obviously have home court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs.
                  1. If Miami takes the #2 seed, they'll have a more easier/less intense route to the Conference Finals. They would likely avoid either the Nets/Bulls in the second round, and instead face either the Raptors & others. Plus, they can start resting LBJ once the seeds are set in stone.

I think the next MIA/IND game will determine the seeding fate. If we lose, then Spo will start resting our guys and prepare for the playoffs. If we win, then I guess LBJ still continues to play throughout the remaining regular season.

Atmosphere at that game was crazy! More so than all the playoff games I've been to. Couldn't make myself wear an apposing teams shirt to a Grizz game.. So I went with a neutral "WITNESS" shirt lol.

Bucks 3 games ahead of Philly with 4 to play for worst record.

Agree with all your points.. But at the same time if he would play the way he's supposed to, the caliber of which he's paid, for more than just the last two minutes of games the Heat wouldn't be in the majority of situations they are in where they need his "clutch"..

I think this is easily his worst year defensively.. If you want to call it his best year as far as spacing that's fine I'll agree.. But all it's done is lead to him taking way more jumpers than he should.

Half his shots come from 16 feet and beyond.. HALF! You can go look that up.. That's ridiculous, especially since he's the only legit inside threat they have.. They signed Ray, Battier, Beas, Lewis, etc for spot up shooing.. And I'm all about Bosh expanding his range and spacing the court.. But he's getting to the point that all he wants to do offensively is stand around.. They could spend less than half what they pay him and sign Channing Frye for that ****.

                          End of my Bosh rant.

I don't think Heat care about 1 seed. It's about matchups. 4-0 Raptors, Nets 0-4, Bulls 2-2, 4-0 Bobcats. They might just tank for the second seed. lol. It's easier for them.

Lebron really, really needs to take a rest. This heat team is looking a lot like the cleveland team with lebron and with so many disjointed lineups I really wonder if this will affect their rhythm in the playoffs. It's basically relearning how to work everyone alongside each other.
