I agree, Shaqtin a Fool is saving him. After watching March Madness, I really liked the chemistry between EJ, Kenny, Chuck and Clark Kellogg. I would rather they go a 4 man crew of that for the NBA playoffs or just go back to the old 3 man crew.

Shaq is the worst....he's the Josh Smith of analysts....just ain't getting any better...still taking verbal 25 footers

Good to see Dallas taking care of business. I want Dirk to make the playoffs!

I respect Memphis but they can be a drag to watch sometimes. The Suns and Mavs play a very entertaining brand of basketball. Memphis can at times too but their halfcourt offense is a struggle.

Yeah I want Dallas and Phoenix too for a couple reasons. One being the way Lionel Hollins got treated at the end of last season after taking that team to their 1st conference final.

That type of stuff rarely gets called in those situations.

I can't agree with that statement. When an MVP goes up for a 2 handed game winning dunk at home and somebody stops him it's almost always an automatic whistle.

I actually give the ref credit for having the balls to swallow the whistle for the road team.

So, the Knicks have @Toronto, Chicago, @Brooklyn, Toronto to finish out the season. Will they make the playoffs?

Its looking pretty good for Dallas to make it in. With the win tonight they move to 2 games ahead of Memphis, who play the Heat tomorrow. Let's assume that they lose that game, not saying they do, but I'd favor Miami in that one. That moves them to 2.5 games back. Dallas plays San Antonio on Thursday, who they are likely to lose to, moving that back to 2 games back. Then the Grizz play the Sixers, who they should beat and move to 1.5 games back. The Mavs play the Suns the next night, which while likely be the key game in all of this. If the Mavs win they're likely to be 2 games ahead of the Grizzlies. The Mavs already hold a tiebreaker against the Grizzlies, so in fact, that would give the Mavs a guaranteed playoff spot.

Basically the Grizzlies really need to beat the Heat tomorrow night. Should be a good game.

The Hawks have Boston, @Brooklyn, Miami, Charlotte, and @Milwaukee. New York is still a game and a half back of the Hawks. I think the Knicks go 2-2 to close out at best, so I really doubt they make the playoffs, because the Hawks would have to lose to Milwaukee to not get in.

No chance. Which means we know what will be the NBA TV playoff series this year... whoever plays Atlanta !!!

Edit: I back off my statement a little bit, I thought Atlanta was up 3 in the loss column and not 2.

I think I heard ATL has to win 3 of their next 6 to clinch....that's a tough road for NYK...I wonder what ATLs schedule looks like...

The Mavs play the Suns the next night, which while likely be the key game in all of this.

The good thing for the Mavs is that the Suns will be on the second night of a back to back.

Nahhh. Looks like we're gonna have another Hawks appearance in the playoffs. They are always hanging around this middle ground where they're good enough to make it, but can't get anywhere.
