HMcCoy, I've watched it a ton too and all KG did was bounce around as to regain his senses. In defense of KG, his fists were clenched but that was probably just a natural reaction from his nervous system. He took a slight lean forward but no one was in arm's distance of breaking them up if something did happen.

I agree that KG was "punch drunk" b/c (after watching it in slow-mo ), Peeler hit him right in his ear and some of his jaw, so KG's balance was probably thrown off a bit.

Sikwitit, I don't think we're questioning KG's intelligence. It was very smart for him to not respond. But the question is--- did he really want to???

You people trip me out!! If KG had swung back then all you guys would been say how dumb he was for getting suspended for game seven!!

And MJ never swung on Reggie. They got tangled up after Reggie pushed off MJ (seems to be a theme with these bitches going up against MJ) and while they were wrapped up, MJ pushed Reggie's face back. He never swung on Reggie.

But he DID swing on Laimbeer, which you ignored.

Anyone reading can see the slant you're putting on these stories.

I've only seen 2 NBA players run from a fight and that was Kevin Johnson and Jalen Rose.

Now you're saying a notorious dirty player, Ferry, ran from MJ? Please.

MJ didn't jump at him. He stood there with his fist clenched.

And no he didn't push Miller's face back. He scratched his face up. It's like he was clawing at him.

Laimbeer? Who hasn't swung on Laimbeer?

On topic- Interesting to know that KG and Peeler (aka "Hulk Smash") are/were good friends.

Re: Timberwolves vs Kings : Round 2

i was at the game and from the middle of the 1st quarter we kept saying if the refs dont take control, there will be a fight. i am not sure what was on tv but everytime there was a stoppage, there was staredowns, elbows, trip attempts and general in your face intimidatiion from both sides.

KG was always messing with someone and it looked like the kings in many ways were giving it back for the first time in the series.

miller had his hand on the head of KG while gaurding him, christie messing with cassel after stoppages and pushing him a few times hard during game play.

the fight overall was the refs not doing their job. they let too much go, and let the tempers flare. cassell just got in christies face for an entire walk up the court and nothing happened. not a warning, an intercession by the refs, nothing.

They did play together for 8 years....

Also, interesting how this thread became about fighting, past and present.
