He can still opt out if he wants to. It's his choice. That is the risk a trading team would be taking. He is in the drivers seat. I hope he just leaves the Magic. Everything about that club blows.

True, but here I am hoping they can turn it around. T-Mac said he wants to stay there and I wanna see the man accomplish something in his (well, pretty much) hometown.

I'm sure he will get the same treatment, he'd get that anywhere, but will the upper management have the smarts and the good insight to surround TMac with the players that he needs to get far in the playoffs, and even get to the playoffs?

You could be treated like a god, but if you're still losing, then what's the point of it all?

Then tell me why they are saying we won't do anything unless you sign first and early at that? It's a minor league hockey GM and they are going to keep Johnny "moral victory" Davis on and they kept John Gabriel. I'd say that is a combination for losing.

Difference. T'Wolves got Spree and Cassell, KG resigns. When the offseason starts, the Magic should make the right personnel moves and build around T-Mac, not wait for his decision whether to resign or not. If they show commitment to him, he'll probably do the same.

They should, but the GM gave Mac a threatening ultimatum. Why do I say threaten. He has repeatedly said he could care less what Mac wants when Mac stated he wanted to stay, and he gave this ultimatum to the media before he told Mac. As a matter of fact Mac found out by reporters pulling him over to the side and asking him how he felt about it, and he was like ....?????

Hockeyman is a moron. He should be trying to spread a table of goods to keep that guy, not you first..no you first.
