Im probably crazy but I can see Indy coming back. No way Atlanta shoots 66% in the second half, right guys?

Man....how lucky are the Miami Heat? Not that they couldn't easily win a third straight anyway going through any of the teams in the east. But to have Derrick Rose **** up a knee and miss three straight postseasons, Big Al tears up his foot in the first game of a series that they were looking like they were going to have to really work for and the Pacers are ****ting all over themselves. It's kind of crazy.
The Pacers isnt luck though, they brought that **** on themselves."To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

I don't see that lead holding either. As much as I don't like them, I can't see the Pacers going out like this.Comment

Re: 2014 Eastern Conference Playoffs -1st Round Discussion Thread
I honestly dont know what the heck has happened to this team. They looked like they might end up having 1 of the best seasons in NBA history, then things started to go south. Starting when they signed Bynum, then it really went all the heck when they traded Granger.
I know rumors are Vogel is on the hot seat, but I have a hard time putting this all on him. No bigger Larry Bird fan than me, but I say Pacer fans need to look at Bird 1st with blame, then 2nd the players themselves.
I think adding those players and letting Granger and even Orlando Johnson go had a bad impact on this team. They were a tight group until those moves were made. On paper the moves looked good, but there is a lot to be said about chemistry for a team in any sport.
Granger was a vet who was at one time the face of the team, and after injuries wasnt the same, but was still a guy plyaers looked up too. Because he took a step back and was a professional about it putting team 1st.
Orlando Johnson I know some are probably thinking, huh he didnt hardly play at all. This kid was mature and probably the most popular player in the locker room, because of his positive attitude and what he had overcome in his life.
I really believe losing those 2 players had a negative impact, and I do think guys got a little complacent as well. Not that the entire coaching staff dont desrerve some of the blame, but everything was fine until those moves.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

To whoever was in that conversation earlier in the week: this game is an example of why Paul George isn't the "face if this franchise." Playoffs, down by 26, 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter he has yet to take a shot in the half. The 5 players on the court are not speaking or interacting with each other, no way they come back, not a chanceComment
