This was probably most frustrated I've ever been after a loss. Who'd have thought a 26 point lead and a laugher of a game would end like this.

Nets gave it their all though in the end. 44 POINTS!

Raptors have to be the worst inbounding team in the NBA. Salmons specifically sucks(he literally threw a game away against OKC a few months back), but other guys aren't that much better.

You know she's a Nets fan when:

Raps fans out in full force here on OS and outside the arena. That was a crazy scene during the game.

To me the series was always hinging on Williams. If he played elite the Nets would have a good chance at taking it, if not then they're pretty mediocre IMO. The reason I picked the Raps was because I didn't have enough faith in Williams to be elite.

Raps are having a nice season and have a few pieces but I still don't think they're really much tbh. I don't think highly of either teams and I said both of them would get run by the Heat. I'm still surprised literally nobody picked the Raptors on OS outside of Raptor fans.

I'm happy for Toronto though and I hope they win because watching the Nets play is like nails on a chalk board.

The thing that's crazy about the series is that even though games have been close, neither team is playing at all like they did in regular season. First 3 quarters of this game were like regular Raptors, and quarters 1 and 4 of game 4 were regular season like, but there hasn't been a complete game by either team yet.

The one thing that's clear in watching this series is just how evenly matched up they are. The Raptors and Nets have been fighting tooth and nail when the feeling going into this by some was that Toronto would give them a fight but lose.

It has made for engrossing TV but it isn't the prettiest basketball i've ever seen. The Raptors/Nets rivalry has become more than just history (First Raptors game ever was against the Nets, first game at Barclays saw the Raps as the opponent and two good playoff series) it has now become something that generates heat. The Raptors finally really have a hated foe and I like it.

Hope they do become rivals cause Raptors need some!

Also...ESPN analysts are looking worse than usual lol. Everybody could be wrong on Hawks-Pacers,all but 1 is wrong on Bulls-Wizards, and most could be wrong on Nets-Raptors.

Other than Clippers,Spurs and Heat, every other team leading their series wasn't supposed to win based on ESPNs picks.

We got thoses but ours just don't look like dildos. They're made of cheap plastic and are pretty ugly. It's not really a common thing to find in a house either.

My biggest fear is that they go back to being the Raptors of old next year and this was just a flash in the pan. But then again there is quite a big difference from this team compared to the 2007 playoff team, which also benefited from a really weak Eastern Conference.

And I have faith in Masai Ujiri to make the right moves in the offseason. The last thing I want to see is them stand pat and think everything's all good because of how successful this season has been. They still need to be adding pieces and improving the overall talent level of the team if they want to go further in the postseason or even just become a consistent playoff team.

Anyways, hopefully that near-collapse is a blessing in disguise and will have the team more focused for Game 6 than they would have been had they blown the Nets out. It'd be nice to see them finish the job and move to the 2nd round, even if a series against Miami is basically a foregone conclusion that they'd lose (IMO they'd take at least 1 game).

Worse than usual? These are the same "experts" that didn't pick Dallas to win a single series the year they won the championship.

........I don't even want to comment on this lol. But too tempted not to.

But I will say this...the one reason it might be better for people to cheer against the Nets(regardless if they were facing Raptors,Bobcats,Hawks or anything like that) would be because if the Nets fail, it shows the league that the big salary stuff doesn't work out, if the Nets are successful though, more teams might start doing that. Similar to Jays and Marlins the past 2 seasons in MLB, both with huge salary teams, and both failed. And that's in a league where guys get 20M+ per year already. Can't imagine where things might be right now if those teams were successful.
