Re: 2014 Eastern Conference Playoffs -1st Round Discussion Thread
I was rooting for the Mavs that year. Couldn't stand the majority of players on that Heat roster, but was glad to see Zo get a ring.
I definitely understand the complains, lots of iffy calls. But I was never part of the group who thought they were flat out "robbed".. Ultimately they should have done a much better job keeping Wade out of the lane. Would have kept themselves out of that situation in the first place.
But, Dirk got him back. I'm sure revenge was sweet.

If what the refs do actually ends up meaning anything in this series, the means the Mavs are actually competitive and in the series, so I'll be happy if it comes to complaining about the officiating rather than watching the Mavs lose by about 8 to 14 every game.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Based on the way the Toronto crowd treated KG today and the Nets, in general, I would love to see a Mavericks-Raptors finals.
I know it would never happen, I would just love to see the treatment Vince Carter would get from that crowd in a Finals series. He gets booed to hell every time he returns to Toronto, even if it's just the 12th game of the season or something.

Even though Raptor fans have 0 reason to boo VC. The only reason he ever left was cause the owners of the Raptors along with the Raptors GM were abunch of idiots who had no business being involved in sports to begin with. McGrady, and Bosh to some extent, fans have good reason to hate for leaving, but VC probably more than anyone had the best reason to leave.
