      He started slower than normal, then missed some time with injury, and Lee was starting over him some once he returned... But he's easily among the best, if not the best, perimeter defenders in the league.

            I feel like if he would've got it, it'd be based on past reputation because his defense definitely dropped off some this year due to some of things you mentioned.

              Exactly, it wouldn't make much sense for him to get it this season and not any of the past couple years.
