I know Spurs fans won't come on here and say nothing, but you all know this is trash. Ticky tack fouls and letting them get away with other stuff on the other end. Slava getting phantom fouls on the drive. Even Doug Collins is there with his purple pom poms.

That's ridiculous. It's not like the Spurs are only shooting jumpers. They have one of the best inside players in the league who's getting pushed around. They're driving to the hole, they're not getting calls.

This is the same pattern every year with the Lakers in the playoffs. It's been that way since the Showtime '80s. NBA likes the glamor so they want the Lakers to stick around. That is how the Lakers are "defending" the Spurs.

duncan has shot 10 free throws, which is more than anyone except shaq and kobe so he is getting the calls. I agree la does have an edge but homecourt will do that for a team. besides its not like the lakers can't beat the spurs. Remember they were beating them by 10 in game 1 before screwing up. and they soundly whooped them in game 3. but there is still plenty of time left for stuff to happen.

edit: also look at whos in foul trouble. for the lakers its shaq and gp but for the spurs its only manu.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

You're not telling me that San Antonio didn't get these calls in their building.

It's not like there's a huge difference in the fouls. The Spurs outside game won't get them foul shots. They do have one of the best post players in Duncan, but so do the Lakers, and both have the same amount of free throws.
