Livingston deal is for the full mid level exception. I LOVE that signing for Golden State, assuming he can stay healthy.

The Warriors' deal with Shaun Livingston will be three years, $16 million, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

I think they have 28 mil if they stretch Nash.

Not saying the lakers are a great spot for Melo there is quite a few question marks and Jim Buss but they're not behind the Bulls.

That's a really good fit for Livingston and Golden State and a good contract as well.

Hopefully we hear about Charlotte getting their backup point guard soon.

But why would the Bulls be so appealing to Melo? They have Noah and Rose who hasn't played in two years. And then they have Gibson and a bunch of scrubs. The bulls only have like 11 mil in cap space so they would have to get ride of Gibson probably.

The Lakers can still sign Hollins. They drafted Randle. They can sign Melo and another FA and keep Pau. Melo and Kobe are friends and the Lakers are still the lakers. Sure you also have a lot of question marks with Kobe but I don't think the Bulls are ahead of the Lakers in Melo's head.

And I think he's done with New York.

Maybe I'am trippin but we will see.
The Bulls have an elite coach and a top 3 center who is in his prime. They play great team defense, the only thing they lack is scoring. Without Rose for 2 seasons they've still been able to produce Playoff teams. That alone is enticing IMO for one of the best scorers in the game in Melo. Then you add in Rose who while he hasn't played in 2 years, he will still only be 26 by the time the season starts and throughout both injuries he's went through, he's done full recoveries(VERY full recoveries lol). If he's even 3/4th's the player he was, with Melo included, that's a scary team. Either way they're still a damn good team even if Rose isn't there.

So yes, that is a lot more enticing than a team with a 36 and 34 year old Kobe and Pau who has no current coach.

And now I feel sick for defending the Bulls lol.

Vni you a trip. Derrick Rose hasn't played in two years is the whole back drop for this discussion and yet 35 year old Kobe who turns 36 next month that blew up his foot and got shut down last season for fracturing his freakin' knee is all good for why LA isn't behind the Bulls in this race.

Doesn't matter cause neither of our squads are getting him, but damn son.

That's not even what I'am saying and Kobe is definately the question mark here. But the lakers have some flexibility and can still sign a great coach in Hollins.

                                And in 2016 Kobe expires.
