Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread

You're acting like I put words in dude's mouth.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
The guy was born in NY, went to school at Syracuse, married a woman from NY and said he wanted to be traded back to NY... I don't think it's much of a stretch to say he likes NY.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
But what if he feels New York has a chance to win, obviously not next year, but we don't know what's being pitched at him.
It's not like the guy is a 35 year old ring chaser and this is his one last year to get it done.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
He says he doesn't want to wait. He wants to win NOW. That it's the most important thing to him at this point in his career.
Anyone in this forum and anyone who pays attention to the NBA, knows those guys aren't even close to a title. I'm not trying to be mean about it, it's just the truth.
I'm just saying, for him to make those specific statements and then IF he was to go back, is just ****ty. It's not like this dude is a 23-year old kid or something where you could just chalk it up to immaturity.
Yes......I'm begging and I'm desperate for him to come here. lolComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
This is the same guy who's gotten upset at Athletes just saying "No comment" in the past lol
Remember that when it comes to ThreeKing and his issues in regards to player comments.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Players say crap all the time they don't mean. Now all of a sudden their comments hold weight? Plus there are other situations he can win now in, not just in Chicago. So will you applaud him when he leaves New York but doesn't come to us but still stuck to his word? Nah.
He ain't coming man. Never was.
Nah, dude.
He's said these things on MULTIPLE occasions. He's been basically saying it since the All-Star break.
Still think he's coming here.
If he goes to anywhere but NY, I'll understand. But if he stays there, then he's ALL TALK.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
“Without a doubt,” Anthony said. “Any opportunity I have to build that up in New York, I’d do it. I told people all the time, always say, if it takes me taking a pay cut, I’ll be the first one on Mr. Dolan’s steps saying, ‘Take my money and let’s build something strong over here.’ ”
"Absolutely,'' Anthony said. "This is something that when that time comes during the offseason I will definitely explore. Does that mean I'm not coming back to New York? Not at all. But it's definitely an opportunity I'm willing to explore and experience . . . but that not whatsoever means that I'm not coming back to New York or I don't want to be here in New York.
"At the end of the day, I don't want to go anywhere, I don't plan on going anywhere. But when that time comes, I'll deal with that situation.''#RespectTheCultureComment
