Might want to relax man, before someone reports you to a mod for being disrespectful.

So the 10-20 minutes Derrick talked to Melo everybody pulled out of their *** and Broussard has the real scoop? Doubtful.
Personally I just don't see the big deal in any of this stuff. In the end it isn't Rose's job to recruit guys. If he wants to call one of his buddies and say hey we have room for you then OK but I don't expect any player to be actively recruiting every player like they're the GM.

I like Hawes, but... they needed a freaking small forward starter! That should have been their priority.. PP is cool.. but he's... aging.. not sure if he'd be the answer at the 3

Pierce is not. They need someone at the wings in the worst way though.

I don't how explaining why I think a player is scrubby can be considered me being disrespectful, but ok.
Am I trolling? Am I serious? Did Dennis Green and the Cardinals really "let them off the hook"? What about the children? Find out next week

I honestly don't have a problem with the franchise players being a part of the process. If Rose doesn't want to do it,I get it. With that being said, if in a couple of years the Bulls haven't gotten over the top, I don't want to hear Rose talking about how the franchise hasn't done enough to bring in the type of talent that can get them over the top.

Well there's no way they were gonna get that through free agency. I'm sure starting SF was their first priority, but there's no one they could get who's a big upgrade over Barnes. I mean, their best option is Paul Pierce. That says a lot.

But it is managements job to get them over the top? It isn't Rose's.

Personally, I just don't care. If you want to be apart of the process then do it, if not then don't do it lol. I'm not expecting Paul George to be calling up players right now. I'm expecting Larry Bird to do his job and put the best team he can together.

Front offices aren't dumb. They'll offer the guys they can afford and who they think can help them. I don't really think they need the players' help.

I REALLY want to see Fields and Hayes go too. Mostly just for salary reasons. Get rid of one or both, and bring in another bench guy.

Marion isn't a big upgrade IMO and I just figured they wouldn't have enough money to pay for anyone else. I'm not actually familiar with their cap situation, do you know how much room they have, by any chance?

Still a possibility that we might see:

Just 3 draft picks to sign and Vasquez as well. Raptors have 13M to do that with. So there'll be around 4-5M left over with 1 roster spot still open(and that's assuming they don't even trade Fields or Hayes, which could still happen seeing how Novak was traded so easily, and Raptors didn't even take on $1 of salary)
