The lottery is what will make them a super team. Sonics/OKC were in the lottery 4-5 years. Imagine if a player like Lebron joined them in 08 or 09.

And imagine if Cleveland had drafted Westbrook and Durant ?

As far as we know, they could have.

Probably not a super team but Lebron does make them significantly better. With the way the East is now, the Cavs jump to being a top 4 team in the East with Lebron. Probably top two if Wiggins comes through and Irving plays with better team chemistry.

They do, but they are all protected and won't be worth anything to the T-Wolves if LeBron comes because they will end up going to other teams.

Which is funny because for the last 3-4 years we hated these Superteam Frauds that we're being formed, especially in a "big market" but yet if one is formed in Cleveland(not that I they'll be one either)then folks will be ok with that one.

Nope and that point goes further against coming back to Miami. Going back to the cavs would allow him to become much more of a facilitator in the sense that he has other scorers and also creators around him. Defensively he'd had Andy v, wiggins Bennett and Thompson

For what it's worth, the Cavaliers website removed "The Letter" today

                  This is too good..

No they couldn't have. LeBron was on the Cavs, they were making the playoffs.

Exactly, and this is why this would be the perfect time to go back to Cleveland. He goes back home with plenty of help right now, but he avoids the "ring chaser" or "super team" label. The team has been in the lottery for the past four years! However, the team has a bunch of potential on top of the talent they already have. Who would get the credit for the Cavs making the jump? Lebron.

To start, he was relied on much more in Cleveland, until Bosh started playing like a turd and Wade crawled into his wheelchair.

Spoelstra also did an awful job of managing his minutes and he's getting older so the wear on his body started to take it's toll as we saw.

I didn't mean literally, I'm talking about the plethora of high lottery picks they just magically got.

The heat have never been a super team outside of maybe the first year.. Arguably the second.

Wonder how fast it goes back up if LeBron tells them to piss off.

I understand LeBron going to Cleveland probably makes them instant contenders in the East. But even if that team won 70 games and a championship it's not, by definition, what anyone has been considering a super team.

A super team is a team with multiple super stars, unless I'm confused on what we've been labeling them all along. Cleveland definitely isn't that, not this first year anyways.

lol OS is going to end up migrating from Kyrie barely being a top 10 point guard, one dimensional, borderline All-Star, to a superstar instantly lol.
