it seems like these signings were desperation moves to show a certain someone that they're actually doing something lol. mcbob and granger aren't bad moves and it's progress though

Boozer gets amnestied, Perkins too, Miami snags them both. They sign a backup SG.

doubt the bulls do that just to help the heat.

So we're all seriously going to act like a team that's made 4 straight finals needs to make some kind of huge splash to be something they already are/were? And that adding McRoberts to the rotation isn't an upgrade from starting Rashard Lewis at PF? Ok then.

Help the Heat? The Bulls would be doing that to help themselves..

But that post from me was a joke anyways, not me being serious.

This. McRoberts is basically a left handed Boris.
Not as good in the post as Boris, but much more athletic.

IMO huge improvement at the 4 over Battier and Rashard.

isn't he able to shoot the 3 ball reasonably well too?

he can rebound pretty well too

Who said they need to make a huge splash? Lol. They needed to upgrade without a single doubt. They are fortunate the east is in the state they are in.. if they were in the west it would be a different story. So making the finals 4 straight years is super impressive regardless, but you seem to be overlooking some aspects of the past 4 seasons.

They could go to war with this team and still make the finals for sure, they would just really rely on LeBron again. Both ends of the floor. They need to add more playmakers, creators and wing defenders to take the pressure off. Especially if Wade is only going to play half the regular season.

McBob is great, Granger is pretty questionable. At this point he's a lateral move.

I'm telling you; I think LaLa is holding this whole thing up.

I think Melo wants to come to Chicago, but she's not having it. Significant less money and it's not NY or LA.

What if the Heat want Bosh to think LeBron may actually be going to Cleveland and thinking he's going to get stuck holding the bag in Miami without LeBron there so he's out of the loop and decides to take the money in Houston. Like, Riley doesn't want to tell Bosh they don't want him back since he helped them get 2 rings, so they want him to leave on his own to Houston and then Melo can take his place and sign on with Bron in South Beach after they push Bosh out this way?

If Miami could add a wing I would be more comfortable with their off-season, I'd say it would be successful for the most part. But to depend on the 2-guards they have and their wings, that's a lot to ask and expect from an aged Wade/Allen/Granger and rookies Napier and Ennis (basically a rookie). I would love to see them pick up another wing, one who can handle and defend. Not sure who that player would be though..

Heh, not too long ago Boris was an overweight bum who couldn't even have a meaningful impact on a Bobcats team..now its laughable to compare hIm...that should show you in itself it's not about the names you get, but how they'll fit...

                              Cole/Napier

                              Wade/Allen

                              Bron/Granger/Ennis

                              McBob/Haslem

                              Bosh/Birdman/Hamilton

Rodney Stuckey, he's basically a poor mans, like very poor, Wade. Not a great shooter, but a shooting guard with point guard handling/passing ability. Can defend well.

There's always Nick Young, I think teams are down on him, thus he could be cheap.

I just keep praying NOR will use their amnesty on Eric Gordon.
