It boggles my mind man. He turned a second round pick into still uptapped Zeller and Thornton (a guy teams seem to really still want) & a first round pick (who cares if it's protected). That's some b.s. lol

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
These moves by Cleveland just came out of nowhere as if they know something we don't...but I don't know what to make of the meeting with Pat Riley. I mean either Pat's got something in the works or LeBrons giving him the final goodbye. Idk what's more likely. If you look at both rosters (as is now) you choose Cleveland in a heart beat. You have a good defender in wiggins to share the defense of the opposing teams best guy through the regular season. You have Kyrie who will gladly carry some of the scoring role. A solid 6th man in waiters. Decent bigs I'm Varejo (hopefully stays healthy) if they get Ray Allen and mike miller that's easily a guaranteed walk to the finals assuming the pacers stay a laughing stock of themselves and the bulls don't make much improvement this offseason.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
But IF you get a commitment from both, I'd go that route in a heartbeat. The Cavs would still be nasty if they didn't get Love and just kept LeBron, but with both, that'd really put them over the top in my opinion.
I think Wiggins is going to be a star, but it'll take a few years before he really makes a huge impact. He's still raw.
Love is a perfect fit for that squad.
G: Irving
G: Waiters
F: LeBron
F: Love
C: Varejao
That is NASTY.Comment

even if the Heat comes back with same team (including Mcbob and Granger) they are a better team than what Cleveland has to offer. this same squad has been to the Finals 4 straight years!! just because they got blown out by the spurs doesnt make them a bad team. just makes them the 2nd best team in the league.
if you forget that Cavs have a new coach as well. so everything is just supposed to click and they will walk into Finals? yeah ok"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
yea but will they take psn cards

Miami would still be favored to win the East with the team as constructed no doubt. It's just that the team is wearing down and the reliance on the Big 3 is so large, especially on LeBron.
It's really tough to keep LeBron out of this topic.Comment
