Grizzlies trying to extend ZBO. Something like 4 years $48 from the article sounds pretty fair. I wouldn't overspend here he's had a lot of wear and tear

Randolph averaged 17.4 points and 10.1 rebounds a game last season.

Stability matters, and while the Grizzlies have not had it in the front office and coach staffs they do have it on the court. They need Zach Randolph to stay, ideally at a price that allows them to get some more shooting.

There is a fair price for both sides (less than the $16.5 million, maybe in the four years, $48 million range). Sounds like they are working towards it and will get a deal done.

Interesting since you are adamantly against VDN and Gentry getting another chance

Dunleavy has been out of the league for a reason. In his last 7 seasons as a coach he missed the playoffs all but one year.

He isn't any better than Gentry

Definitely don't over spend.. Especially since Davis played well this year, as well as Koufos who I had no idea could play PF. Leuer was good for them as a big who can stretch the floor some, nearly automatic mid range shot, not great at much else though, almost a Brandon Bass type player.. Johnson and Prince can player small ball PF too.

Is rather them get a guy who can create looks, even if it's someone older like Pierce.. Even though ZBo always has a huge role come playoff time, he's a different animal than regular season usually.

Chalmers is going to be a free agent this summer. Do you think Miami will keep him around or go for someone else? If so, who?

I think they'll keep him unless they somehow are able to draft a pg who is a knockdown shooter.

The beauty of the Chalmers/Cole combo is that between the two of them they provide what the Heat are looking for, but neither one is good enough to start for anybody else.
                  Good job! Good effort!

For those not following the Eastern Conference Finals thread, I've announced a fire sale for the Pacers. Everyone must go. I'm taking all offers.

Well...in that case I'll take PG off your hands for Carlos Boozer and a bag of Cheetos.

Jordan Adams seems intriguing. Still not sure on who my top guy is.

Where does everyone think Randle goes?

What do we think happens with Kyrie in Cleveland? Do the Cavs offer him a max deal and if so would he accept? Lots of conflicting 'rumor' reports out there.

Too hard to say right now. Either the Cavaliers don't want to lose face and don't offer, Kyrie doesn't want the super max and the Cavaliers won't offer, or they both want it and they do offer it.

I'd expect him to get a hefty raise. I would also expect it this offseason. But maybe not for 5 years. He may give the Cavs a 3 year "show me" chance.

To be honest, this is the biggest Cavaliers offseason ever. They have a ton of ammo and adding the #1 pick to Kyrie should give them their best 1-2 punch ever. We'll see.

With all the talk about Melo landing in Chicago or Houston does anybody think Cleveland could have an outside chance? The potential on that team has to be at least somewhat enticing.
