Love is a bit overrated IMO. He's a monster scoring and a monster rebounding but outside of those he's pretty mediocre in the rest of his game. I think he's a number two guy honestly. Or if he's gonna be your number one, you better put him with a GREAT defensive center.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
thing is, loves not going to have a great defensive center unless he ends up in chicago or houston, but houston is a stretch in terms of that because dwight has enough issues helping on harden/parsons guysComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Per Chris Haynes of CSNNW:
Darren Collison of the Los Angeles Clippers will forgo the second year of his contract that would have paid him $1.9 million to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, a league source informed CSNNW.com….
The source’s response to our inquire was, “Darren is definitely opting out.”#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
so i guess houston is trying to package lin+asik+1st and possibly jones in a "give away" trade to get rid of their contracts,
and also they will trade almost anything for melo, excluding dwight/harden
how can the knicks NOT take parson/lin/jones for himComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I still don't get why they want melo that's a terrible fit for both they should go after lebron much better fit in houston.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Melo has a more realistic chance of going there than LeBron. I think every team in the NBA would bid on LeBron if he wanted to leave so most teams are probably not even considering it.Current careers:

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I don't know imo the only teams that would make sense for melo is chicago or just staying in ny. I think lebron would basically fit in to any team he chooses, im sure with a chance to play with one of the best sgs and the best center is a really attractive destination.Comment
