Probably bad for my dream of keeping Wiggins as well. Wolves would talk to other teams if they didnt really like the Cavs offer.
And my Wiggins jersey came in the mail today too lolLast edited by cavsfan2; 07-30-2014, 09:54 PM.Comment

If he gets traded and turns out great that'll actually be a good thing IMO. To have a rare jersey that was never worn."To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

If they give up Wiggins AND a first my mind will officially be blown.. However it would definitely be the Cleveland thing to do.. SmhComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I agree. If they do include Wiggins though they better get Gorgui Dieng and keep Waiters. In that scenario I would be fine with parting with a few first rounders. However, I still say that Waiters, Bennett (or Tristan), and three first rounders should be fair.Comment

Unless I'm somehow misreading your post.
Too bad for Wiggins if true, went from possibly playing alongside LBJ and being mentored to being a TWolve.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Sorry I didn't write my thoughts correctly. I meant I doubt wiggins is involved in the trade given all the speculation and Bennett being pulled by his agent today, and the timetable before wiggins can be tradedComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
If the Cavs manage to land Love without giving up Wiggins, that would be an absolute steal because those future picks are pretty much irrelevant when you have LeBron.
If I was Minnesota, I would make sure that I get Wiggins in return. Plain and simple.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Waiters, Bennett, 1st isn't bad, I actually think it's about even.. Waiters, Bennet, and 3 FIRSTS!? There's no way I would do that, Minny can just keep Love and let him walk for nothing if that's the case.
There aren't many players who are worth 5 first round picks, 2 of which were top 5 picks with loads of potential left, one who's shown he's probably capable of scoring 20+ per game if given a primary role or even starters minutes last two years...
I've already had essay long posts about this topic so I won't fully delve into it again. But when given equal minutes as Klay Thompson Waiter's number line actually trumps his. Not only this past season but even his rookie season compared to Klay last year. The same Klay that many of you feel just earned himself a max contract.. Waiters arguably could even have more potential as a primary scorer. He's a year younger, he handles the ball better, can pass the ball better (though he's often shoot first mindset), creates his own shots better, gets to the hole better, and gets himself to the free throw line twice as much.
I'm not saying you don't trade Waiters for Love, because I think it's pretty obvious that you should. Especially when you have Kyrie, Wiggins, LeBron. But don't be throwing in MULTIPLE future firsts.. Especially since Minny is really in no position to demand anything, he's about to leave them for nothing and the longer they wait the worse the offers get.Comment
