Iggy and Green should be good. If Bogut is healthy the need for a strong perimeter defender becomes much smaller as well. Everything is easier when you have a big man who's best asset it help defense.

That's a pretty big "if" though. Andre also had some problems with injuries last season so an extra perimeter defender would be a must IMO.

I don't think it's happening anyways. The trade I saw being "proposed" was a 3 team trade with GS, LAL, and Minny.

All the T-Wolves ended up getting was David Lee and a 7th, I'm not sure they give up Love for that.

IMO the trades involving 3 average players make more sense than the 7th pick and David Lee does, simply because that's 3 starters compared to a "could be" that you get from a daft pick.

As for the defense, you can look to add someone since Blake is expiring, or look for trade pieces for Crawford/Brooks.

Yeah that trade doesn't make sense at all. Basically the Lakers could just trade their pick straight up for Love, without involving the Warriors, and Minny wouldn't have to take Lee back, but that's not happening. I still think the proposed Boston trade makes the most sense. BTW Brooks is on the Lakers now.

Yea his father was talking on the radio on Friday about how his son was sad about this and he continued on about talking to Klay about having the right mindset to go to the Wolves or LA.

Kinda odd to hear on the radio, such candor from Michael.

The only position the Lakers are set at is shooting guard, and Thompson plays that position. Maybe he could start alongside Kobe at the 3 but I think the Lakers should either keep their pick or trade it for a package of players.

Anytime you see an early rumor of the Lakers butt raping some other poor teams assets for junk, its usually not true.

                It happens every single year.

That's a pretty nasty visual 23 but I get your point.

Thornton and Waiters eh... so when Waiters goes to the bench they can make sure they have a chucker on the floor at all times

Hopefully it's nothing more than another rumor in one of the busiest times of the year for Rumor Season.

Thornton is fine for the role he has on the team(basically what Jet should've been)and bringing would probably mean Livingston would be gone I'm assuming.

I'm starting to see why we need to mod these rumors. There's literally a million of them, going in all sorts of directions. These "journalists" are just throwing **** at the wall now hoping it sticks.

From one of guys that follow the Nets and has usually been pretty reliable in regards to Nets moves:

Lol, I have more faith in these than the "exploring for superstars" reports using a big name to grab your attention..

No reason to lie about no Jarett Jack unless you at least heard something, lol
