Not to be a downer to a heat fan , but they never had a honest chance at reaching the finals this year. Sure technically every single team has a chance but nobody fears/respects the heat.
Until they add a big man and play harder defense things will only get worse.

things will only get worse? The Heat are on the up and up. Lamar Odom has already turned his career around. Brian Grant is already that hustle guy, has been his whole career. All they need is a quality big man and some more depth. And they already play good defense, they're just overmatched inside.

i wonder if u and I were watching the same Heat team?

Pat Riley has already said that their #1 priority this offseason is Mark Blount, who already owns a home in Miami. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Thats True....Miami need a Big men Center like 7 feet tall.....Not to score points....just to get more rebounds and block some shot..beacuse they had good scores and atletic guys like Caron and Wade....and with Odom playing hard inside with the help of Briand Grant....and the bench support of Alston....sounds like a future championship team!!!!! GO HEAT....BEAT INDIANA.....BUT REGGIE PLEASE MADE SOME 3 Pointers....
