I don't know if the test was meant for die-hards who post on these message-boards or make espn their homepage...
Somehow I doubt Matthew Perry and those other Hollywood posers could get 3 right.

I got 19 right. I missed the last question.

17-19 Like Magic dishing out the highlight assists, you're a vital link to an established dynasty.

I amaze myself. I'm not even a Laker fan and I got 17 out of 20 right.

                  I missed 13, 15, and 17

The last one is an extremely hard question. Good thing mt brother knew it. You would almost have to make a guess to get it right. Good thing my dad filled me and my brother with Laker history.

                              11. Who coined the phrase "Showtime"?

                              Riley, hence the hint

                              14. With Magic hobbled, what team shocked the Lakers in the first round of the 1981 playoffs, led by Moses Malone?

                              Rockets

                              15. Who was the Lakers coach when they lost?

                              Paul Westhead

                              17. What savvy veteran led the Lakers in scoring and assists in 1992-1993?

Dribble to the left, knock in the fadeway = Mr. Sedale Threat

                              18. During that campaign, the Lakers finished eighth in the Western Conference, and almost pulled a major upset in the first round. Who was the team?

                              Phoenix

                              19. In 1971-1972, the Lakers went on an ungodly tear, winning a ridiculous 33 in a row (an NBA record that still holds to this day) in the regular season. Who did they beat in the NBA Finals, and what future Laker coach was on that team?

                              Phil Jackson's Knicks

                              20. Due to free agency compensation for the loss of Gail Goodrich, the Lakers were awarded the No. 1 pick in the 1979 NBA Draft (where they got Magic, of course) after this team had the worst record in the league. Name the team.

Utah (didn't know this one either)
