Sports Daily: Time to Turn Off The Lights in OKC?

If you're going to suffer the worst loss in franchise history -- a 112 to 77 shellacking -- the playoffs are a horrible time for it to happen.

Sure, in 2012 the Thunder got off to the same horrid start before winning four-in-a-row to advance to the NBA Finals. According to some, however, there is no parallel to suggest a similar rebound for OKC and it may be time to pencil the Spurs into the Finals.

Sound Off: Why is OKC struggling against San Antonio?

No way it'll happen. The Spurs are far too focused on getting it done this year.

No, right now it's too premature...Spurs look unbelievable right now, but if OKC takes game 3 that's all people would need to think OKC has a chance.

I just can't see the Spurs losing 4 of the next 5; particularly with how they're playing right now

OKC Thunder needs to get rid of Russell Westbrook. They don't really need him. He is a great player but he is also a ball hog and a hot head. That's where the Thunder fall short. They have to alter the offense to appease Westbrook. When he is on, then he is straight fire. But when he is off... he disrupts the entire flow of the offense.

I think the Thunder did much better when he was hurt and KD was the man. Westbrook wants to be the man too bad. There can only be one Chief... everybody else has to be Indians.

They should of kept James Harden and shipped Westbrook off. Harden and Durant would have been a powerhouse!!!!!
