If I had to choose anyone for Pistons,it would've been Bosh, but if it's choosing between just Carmelo and Wade I'd probably choose Carmelo. Just cause Prince would be entering his 2nd season and wasn't a starter in his 1st,compared to Hamilton who's been a starter for years, so it'd be easier to manage a team like that compared to having Wade starting and suddenly moving Hamilton to the bench or something.

(Funniest part of 03 draft is how at the time....a number of sites said the Pistons had a better draft than the Cavs)


Would you rather draft 14th overall despite being a top 11 team in the league(meaning you missed playoffs but are better than many playoff teams in other conference) or draft 20th overall and not even have as good of a record as you would've if you drafted 14th overall(but you still made playoffs/won division while having the 20th pick)

would you rather draft a 7'0+ coming off a broken foot, or a quick guard coming off a torn ACL?

I'd say the guard. Even if he won't be as quick as he once was, there's still other parts of his game. Compared to a big man where his size is his biggest strength,and if he has a broken foot,that'll just make things so much worse for him since he won't have much else he can do on the court.


Would you rather have your teams star player injured early in the season(meaning you'll play most of the season with your star player not even at 100%,and a chance for him to miss games throughout the season to rest or something) or late in the season(meaning during the important part of the season/playoffs he might not even play at all.

No commercials. The TV timeouts and things like that get ridiculous.

2000 Lakers with prime Lebron.

I'd take 2000 Shaq/Kobe over 2014 Wade/Bosh, so add Lebron in 2000 and that makes decision easier.


2014 Spurs with all players in their prime, or 1999 Spurs with all players in their prime.

2014. I don't know if Prime Manu + Prime Parker can out match Prime Robinson and Prime Terry porter, but the rest of the 1999 roster is not looking good, and the 2014 roster filled with guys who are still can breakout.

Give me the first 12 picks. It'd be more fun watching an Exum-Wiggins-Parker-Vonleh-Embiid lineup get destroyed then a 15 win team get destroyed, if only because I know the names of these guys.

Let's say you have the third pick in an NBA re-draft (like every NBA player is avbailable) LeBron and KD are taken, who do you take at 3 to build your team around (assuming contract lengths are of no issue), Anthony Davis, Chris Paul, Paul George, Dwight, or someone else(specify in you answer)?

Would you rather be a max contract guy (20 mil a year) for 3 contract cycles (4 years a piece, so that 12 years, so that 240 million dollars) never make it to the finals in those twelve years, then have a 3 year contract worth only 6 million a year (career earnings: 256 million dollars) and still not get a ring, and be known as the superstar player who couldn't be 'the guy' for a title winning team and still make the hall of fame, OR, would you rather have one contract cycle of max contract numbers (4 years, so 80 million dollars) and win the title as the star player, then have a career threatening injury and never be the same player again, and be a journeyman for the rest of your career (like a shaun livingston-esque injury)and play 5 more two year contract cycles at 4 million dollars a year(career earnings: 120 million dollars) and be the guy that could have been a legend but never was, and not make the hall of fame?
