Would you rather be a good star player on a team where almost all players/fans in the league have no idea who you even are, or a bench player on a team where every player/fan in the league knows who you are.

I'd take the first option because if no one knew was I was I'd be underrated and no one would get upset if I did badly.


Would you rather coach one franchise for 20 years and win four rings (and be known as one of the best coaches in the league) or coach different teams for 20 years and win 10 rings. At the same time, some people always say that your team's had more to do with your success than yourself

I'll take four rings and the same team. It's a more stable life situation to live in the same area for the whole time, and by the time I'm coaching I'll have a family to think about. Plus if I'm one of the best coaches in the league then my teams are likely consistently competitve and built round the draft and player development for my stars (the Spurs method) but if I'm bouncing around and winning rings it's likely based off of the situation in place or me luring primetime free agents in (the Heat method), so I would much prefer the former.

Would you rather be a high draft pick that never lived up to the hype and only became a serviceable guy that was supposed to be a star, but win a ring, or would you rather be a later pick that became a steal and a star player, but never win a ring?

Later pick. You might not get a ring, but you'll be a way better player making maybe 10-15M more per year.

As a Celtic's fan, I might be biased, but I'd say Auerbach.

Would you rather draft Joel Embiid, Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker in this year's draft if you knew all of them would pan out, and not have injury issues? Assume your favorite team has the number one pick and is making the selection.

Wiggins. He'd be to Toronto what Lebron was to Cleveland(before he left). Don't mean skill wise, I mean like someone who was born relatively close to that teams city and then getting to play for them.

Neither? Though I'd go with mental issues. Being a druggie in this day and age in the league will get you out in 2 years.

As a GM, would you rather own a big market team and attract free agents but have little room for mistakes, or a small market team where you must build through the draft, but you'll have plenty of time to work with?

Would you rather take over a team where nobody is signed to contracts(and you can't re-sign anyone on your current roster), meaning you have every dollar available to spend on free agents

OR

Take over a team where all 12-15 players are signed for 1 more season?
