Its how the TV contract is. ABC contract is limited..

What a joke that there was a divsion series playoff game in primetime on ABC, but no conference games. Hopefully NBC gets it together to bring back the NBA where it belongs.

NBC just acquired NHL, so fat chance of that happening. I personally think it is a big mistake having hockey and basketball on the same network, since their season and playoffs coincide so much. That is a part of the problem this year, and I'm glad that problem will be gone next year.

NBC just acquired NHL, so fat chance of that happening. I personally think it is a big mistake having hockey and basketball on the same network, since their season and playoffs coincide so much. That is a part of the problem this year, and I'm glad that problem will be gone next year.

NBC has a total of about 17 NHL games, if they play next year. I think they could fit the NBA which gets actual ratings around that.
