many run-ins? How many "run-ins do you think he had? He got arrested in high school for fighting in a bowling alley but was then released after another judge reviewed the tape and agreed he didn't do anything. Other than that he was a passenger in a car that had a gun and some pot in it. That doesn't mean that if someone accuses him of something that he did it. Innocent until porven guilty huh, seems like in this case it is guilty even after proven innocent.

I just don't understand why you all are so quick to defend a guy that NONE of you KNOW personally. Were you in his house when it happened or didn't? NO you weren't so don't get so defensive about it, if you weren't there you don't know what happened, okay period.

Now I said AI might be innocent here, but since I wasn't there I don't know. My point though is more about athletes and how they get off of charges. Like Ray Lewis, I'm not saying he killed anyone or anything, but how much time did he serve not much, but if I had done what he did, I would have had to serve 6months to a year.

Look people with money own the court systems and if you don't realize that, then you need to do some research, to disagree with that is the path to folly.

One more question. Do you guys even get what he was talking about when he was referring to practice? He wasn't sayin that practice isn't important he is just talking about how nobody is saying that he didn't try enough in the games. No one is questioning his heart on the court. No one is doubting that he gives his all every game. People are just saying he missed some practices. Other NBA players have even said they have probably missed more practice but that doesn't come out (people like Baron Davis and someone else, I can't remember). He isn't downplaying practice, he is sayin that nobody is talking about the actual game, just practice.

No I don't know if he did it or not, but since they dropped the charges I'll say he didn't do it.

But I'm not going to talk anymore about it, cause I think it's just one of those cases where should agree to disagree. So that no one gets offended by what I say. It's just an opinion.

First, I agree that people w/ money and fame can control the court system sometimes. However that is not the case here. Iverson didnt get off because he was famous, he got off becuse the DA didnt have a case.

Second, The lewis case is the same as this one. The Atlanta DA had a weak case and he lost because of it. He pushed the case for 3 reasons. 1) Lewis refused to answer questions about what his friends did, 2) Lewis was a celebrity and 3) The DA was up for election that year and wanted to convict someone famous for his career.

Money didnt help Lewis in his case. If that was the case his friends would have been convicted when he testified against them and they werent.

My point is money helps people in the judicial system but not in the two cases you used.

And if you would have been charged w/ obstruction of justice like Lewis who was a 1st time offender, there is no way you would have gotten 6 months
