I am not even a Detroit fan but I want them to win and they should have won tonites game. Not fouling with under 10 sec. up 3 is just inexcusable. I've seen too many teams lose because they choose not to foul. Plus shaq got the ball. Everybody in the media is going to be praising the lakers whom in my opinion escaped with this win. I am so pissed that detroit did not foul. They let the lakers into this series now. So far, though the pistons have outplayed the lakers away from home and that cannot be ignored. (Although the media will totally disregard that fact and just bow down to Kobe)

well i don`t think they had a foul to give, so you mean just put them on the line? yeah, it would have been perfect to let kobe dribble down to about 3 seconds left and then foul him or foul Shaq! letting Kobe stand out there and shake-n-bake was a not good.
bottom line... you`re not supposed to let them even get a 3 pointer off. just put him on the line so the most they can get is 2.
but i don`t think this will hurt detroit`s confidence... i mean lets be honest... without the miracle shot from Kobe and the spark from Walton, the Lakers would have lost this game by 10 or more points.
the Pistons did what they wanted to do and that was atleast get a split. and thats all you can ask for when you don`t have home court advantage.
now they go back to detroit where the fans will be going crazy. the next game will be a very hard game for the Lakers to win.Comment

Re: Man this loss hurts
Yeah without the miracle shot and without this and without that...Pistons would have won comfortably...the fact is they didn't. Same happened against SA, a fluke 0.1 of a bs second won them a game they shouldn't have and got them back in the series, they never looked back.
I do hope the Pistons win though. For a number of reasonsComment
