Lightning doesn't know. He's just shooting from the hip, maybe because he's an NBA 2k fanboy. All I know is, the same problems Lightning says are a problem for Live are also a problem for NBA 2k2. Also, he's wrong about SGN's reviews. I just looked them up, and they seem to be on the money concerning the flaws in Live 2001 and 2002, as well as NBA 2k2 for the XBox.

First off, I woudn't take IGN's word for anything, no offense to them, but they rate some good games terribly low. Now Lightning you gotta back that up with some evidence or people are gonna think you are a 2k3 fanboy, or a live troll. Where are you getting your info from?Comment

Re: Rebounding STILL a problem in NBA LIVE 2003
I wasn't talking about IGN, I was talking about SGN which also recently got a copy of the game. I'm not saying lightning is wrong, because I can't tell yet, but he's making unqualified statements and I just want him to say whether he's actually played the game, or is he just claiming that EA will never get it right. If it's the latter, then he's just jumping to conclusions so his statements are invalid. As for IGN's validity, I don't really care about that since I don't find Gamespot to be very good either in terms of reviews. I only read those sites for their previews and nothing more.Comment

Re: Rebounding STILL a problem in NBA LIVE 2003
I don't know if anyone has participated in the discussion at NLSC, however; the poster is answering some questions in the forum. He is playing on All-Star level clarified that the AI does play smarter and may not be as bad as he initially thought. That is promising. He hopes to have movies and screenshots up later tonight on request.
On game reviews, I treat them like movie reviews. They never discourage me from renting/buying a game. I'll check out the review/screenshots/movies to get a feel for the changes for the new season. I rent every basketball game out then decide which one(s) I like then buy. Heck, I am even giving Shootout and Starting Five a chanceComment

Re: Rebounding STILL a problem in NBA LIVE 2003
After take a look at the Xbox video on SGN.COM, i feel very very happy about live 2003, that's exactly the gameplay i want, You can see the CPU controled player are very aggressive (Nowitzki step back and shoots),and they have a nice defense.(Swat the ball !! )
It's a pity that the previewer in sgn didn't show us a great offense gameplay, seems like he didn't get used to the freestyle control yet. CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THIS GAME!Comment

Re: Rebounding STILL a problem in NBA LIVE 2003
It's not out. he hasn't even played it. He's just venting about what he THINKS Live 2003 will be like, and nothing more. the least he could do is qualify his statements so they aren't so misleading.Comment
