you play everyone in East 4 times with the exception of 2 non-division teams that you play 3 times. What does your division matter?? Conference matters, yes.

I think ya'll are underestimating the Wizards. If all goes well and we pick up a backup PF & C, we'll be right there with Miami battling for the division, or at least a "wildcard". Remember, our starting 5 played a total 5 games together due to injuries. If the Bobcats dont take stackhouse then we have an extremely competitive lineup: Arenas and Larry Hughes in the backcourt, with Stack/Hayes/#5 pick at SF, Kwame (13 & 9 from january to the end of the season, hes due to break out) at PF and Haywood at C. Think about that, three guys in Gil, Larry and stack that can handle the ball and score, plus two legit 7-footers (Kwame has grown since HS). In the east, thats recipe for success. If the Bobcats take stack, we get 8 mil to lure a quality veteran SF or two guys (maybe stephen jackson or Q-rich). The wizards GM is no MJ or Unseld, we won't be getting fleeced anymore. The wizards will be a force next season, and next april, I'ma pull up this thread to remind all of you that I saw it coming.
The Wizards are for real! (seriously, watch out)Comment

Re: Expansion draft thread
I agree with Diddy, in 3-4 yrs I think the Bobcats can COMPETE for the 8th playoff spot. Not meaning they will get there in the next 2 years, but by year 3 or 4 they have a shot at being in the hunt for the final playoff spot. Given they make excellent personel decisions and the coaching staff get all they can out of the players. But there are only 3 very good teams in the east(Detroit, Jersey, and Indy). Miami is good but thats about it, Bucks, Knicks are average, everyone else is very beatable.Comment
