Hey, sweep or not, we were always in those games. LJ used to light up NY with the 18 ft jumpers if they layed off. He was truly in his prime. Watching those games were the best thing at the time.

has that guy ever sold his house on Lake Wylie?? When I was in college it still hadn't sold or anything. No one lived there and there was no furniture in the house, so I had sex on his patio. Hey, he was a Knick at the time, I was doing it for him!Comment

Yep, as soon as the Hornets ownership bolted for New Orleans, the team was dead to me. I'll always have the memories of the shot Zo hit vs the Celtics to win in the playoffs. I'll always remember Larry Johnson pre back injury. I'll always remember Mugsy shooting us out of a lot of games because he couldn't hit a wide open 13 footer.
We had some great battles with New York and Chicago in the playoffs. That bastid Jordan had to come out of retirement and spoil it for us in one of best chances too.
Lots of really good memories with the CHARLOTTE HORNETS.
Now it's on to the Charlotte BobCats and I'll be backing them from day one.

Same here. It was hard following the Hornets while living in NY, so I could only catch them on the occasional national TV broadcast and if we were in the playoffs. Hey JD, or any other Charlotte Hornet fans out there: Do you remember Game 4 or 5(?) in the playoffs against the Bulls, I forget what year, 1995 or 1996, at the Hive, on a Sunday afternoon? The Hornets won that game, Muggsy put the most hellacious cross-over spin move on BJ Armstrong, on a fast break... The Hive was going nuts. I was fortunate enough to be there, the place was absolutely bananas.Comment
