But the high schooler gets drafted over you. he doesnt make the playoffs and he still get the roy. Jeff mcinnis held the cavs down him and boozer. the man get not love from the league. They are not force feeding us melo like the did lebron. Damn, is it a crime to defend melo in a thread where everyone has bashed him? seriously, espn articles take things out of context, and you read them and form an erroneous opinion.

just calm down big mike, i was just joking, thats why i added the smily face guy at the end. I assumed everyone would get it, and it looks like you were the only one offended.

No offense taken, I was actually just waiting for the first person to quote his message so i could post that. Anyway it is true that OS has quickly transformed into many Melo haters. This thread alone shows its no longer worth my time to try and have a civilized conversation with the other posters. look at hotadef's post. Yes he did taking a meaningless shot at lebron (ooh chewing fingernails) and was obviously wrong in saying Lebron didnt help the team, but at least he backed it up with the fact that towards the end, Mccinnis was the key player, and when got hurt 'Bron dropped the ball. yet immediately he is called "makamelo". In case you forgot, that guy didnt even form sentences, it was " haha Melo is in the Playoffs while lebron is home cryin god i hate ****kin cocksuckers on his nuts..." and so on. then you have posters agreeing with that assessment. thats a joke.

Anyway, the point is that what hotadef said was right

      </font><blockquote><font class="small">Quote:</font><hr />
When the are talking about how they some one else perceive them.

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

let me clarify that. When Melo said Dont nothin include Melo, he was speaking as if he were one of the people who make those kind of decisions. he wasn't talking about himself in the 3rd. And even if he was, that makes him a ******? [censored] jokesters is what some of you are, when I could find a million comments from him talking about himself NOT in the third person, or from his SLAM! rookie diary.

      </font><blockquote><font class="small">Quote:</font><hr />
So they made him speak in 3rd person and to act like he doesn't get any face time when that isn't the case? Yeah, you're right

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

OK P2K, what NBA sponsored events has Melo been in outside of the "52 greatest moments" show? I said "takes out of context" as in you dont know the mood of the interview or his tone of voice, which would make it clear whether he was speaking in the 3rd person or acting as someone else talking about him.

All that said, Melo still has things to learn. #1 is the NBA wants to push Lebron, theres no denying it. On the court, they want a rivalry, but off the court "King" gets the push and Melo has to see that. Look at PP, he hasnt really had any endorsements or face time. The Infusion? Everyone knows the only reason he has that is cuz KB8 f*cked up. Paul just understood the business side of it, that VC was being pushed as MJ next in their draft class, and with Kobe and Mac already in the league, he had to wait his turn. Melo plays at all star level next couple seasons, he'll get his.

one more thing, OneBadMutha, I dont agree what you said about RJ being the BEST SWINGMAN in the L, but I respected your opinion until you completely bashed Melo. Someone does that to Bron, hes Makaveli reincarnated, someone does it to Melo its cool. Like I said, its become apparent that this thread was made for one purpose, and thats to bash melo. Whatever gets you haters off......

That's the problem...dude played like an all star his rookie year. There is no need for so much muscled defense for him. MeloMen seem to type around here with anger in their veins.

He has a right to feel looked over because he is wade is and hinrich. Everybody is lebron shadow even when anthony outplayed him and had better stats. wade and hinricch did there damn things too. They should feel neglected when they were they started geeting mentioned later. Melo only realy got mention by himself when he wouldnt go into the game. other than that his name is attached to lebrons. Everyone got shorted on endorcements and tv time this year because they had to hype lebron. when kidd and hill went at it they had equal time on tv and they raved about the both of them. Mello is as good as an athlete as lebron they have the same verticle leap. Mello was a top five pick when he went to syracuse. He did what he had to do and didnt miss a game until he got hurt in the playoffs. I recall lebron chewing his nails in a couple of games. what the f up with that.

I dont hate lebron he is good but the l dont need ot overlook the other talent in the league while hyping him up.

Thanks P2k, I figured I wouldnt have to wait long for a post like this one to validate what I said in my above post. MeloMen. . . . . thats a good one. I guess hotadef was wrong when he said there are just as many melo haters as kobe haters. Thats because there are more. Seriously though, Kobe fans haven't been given a nickname for defending their guy, yet we've got Makamelos and Melomen and (insert here)melo etc.

BTW P2K: If you can pull emotions from message board replies, thats great, maybe you teach me that talent. I find it funny when people say Im angry. the "whatever gets you haters off" was just a way to close a long-[censored] post. I'm actually more disappointed in the bias of your (not just P2K, but most of the people in this thread) replies than I am angry at your opinion. I come to OS boards for discussion, not defense.

That's the problem...dude played like an all star his rookie year. There is no need for so much muscled defense for him. MeloMen seem to type around here with anger in their veins.

Thanks P2k, I figured I wouldnt have to wait long for a post like this one to validate what I said in my above post. MeloMen. . . . . thats a good one.

Now, I dont know for sure, but if two players are the same height, and one can get his head above the rim, and the other can't, I would guess that the dont have the same vert.
